Navy cotton twill jackets were often worn by railway workers and engineers in the early part of C20th.
These are an excellent quality using a heavyweight washed fabric. The inside pocket makes a useful addition for these utility garments.
These have been thoroughly washed so have immediate age. They will continue to fade slightly with wear.
They are relatively short at 29" back length which was the conventional shape.
These make excellent Summer jackets for everyday wear and are particularly popular with gardeners.
Because of the washing process these jackets have shrunk down slightly so if in doubt buy a bigger size.
