As every costume department knows, finding decent footwear is always the most difficult problem to solve. Do they look right? Are they comfortable? Can they run in them? Do the soles slip? Do the heels fall off? Can we get very a good size range? Can we afford them? On it goes.
To address these familiar anxieties we have comissioned ladies period shoes specially from Portugal. They are the result of much debate and endless rounds of sampling but finally we are delighted to have them in stock.
The 2in high heel has been specially carved to a proper period shape usually known as a Louis heel.

These shoes are made on a modern last and have memory foam insoles so are fantastically comfortable.
