These shirts are exactly the same as our standard lightweight linen sh120 shirts. We have had them made in this heavier and coarser linen for rougher characters. These are pre-washed so can be used immediately.
The same shirt is available dyed in the broken down section (SH120B)
This shirt uses the standard C18th square gusset pattern and is made from a heavy linen which softens wonderfully when washed.
These are voluminous garments cut in the same way as the originals of the period. Perfect for C18th costume, not ideal for those familiar only with C21st clothing who may find them intimidatingly large.
Dye-able linen buttons.
These shirts shrink slightly, especially if tumble dried but the measurements given here are taken AFTER an initial washing.
