It's taken some persuading but we've finally decided to move with the times and produce a 1950's/60's shirt. The body is less voluminous than our early C20th shirts but keeps well away from anything as drastic as a slimfit. Fusing has been used in the collar and cuffs which is a radical innovation, not just for us, but for the shirtmakers of mid C20th as well.
The collar shape itself is a direct copy of one we inherited from the legendary old shirt firm Rayner and Sturgess who bequeathed us a whole archive of collar shapes. It's the perfect compromise between a spearpoint and a cutaway so this is the ultimate Goldilocks shirt being neither too modern nor too period but just right.
