Reduced Collarless White Poplin Tunic Shirt (SH200) - Single Cuff - 16"

This a reduced shirt from our SH200 range. This is the only one available in a 17" Double Cuff. There are a few small marks on the bottom front left hand side of the shirt. See the pictures for details.

Collarless or neckband tunic shirts form the basis of mens formal day wear from the late C19th to mid C20th.

This is the perfect shirt for wearing with any of our stiff collars.

The neckband is made deliberately narrow in order that it does not show above the collar. This is not always the case with some neckband shirts.

It is usual to add ½in to the neckband size when ordering a separate collar. If you usually take a 15.5in shirt you would need a 16in collar.

The fit is taken from a traditional block which the very opposite of slim fit. It is a generous style with long tails as was customary in the early C20th.

A very comfortable shirt for everyday wear.

The very good quality 100% cotton poplin make them perfect for any costume drama as well as for use by present day barristers who wear them as Court shirts with wing collars and bands.
