Ladies Victorian Blouse (BL001)

Availability: In stock

This is a blouse which we had copied from an 1890's original kept in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The front pleats are particularly effective in forming full bust shape which is so typical of the late C19th to early C20th.
We call them Victorian but they can be used from late C19th to early C20th.
The sleeves have an authentic elbow dart but are made deliberately slightly long to accommodate a modern body size.
Currently in stock in UK sizes 10-18 in various colourways
The fabrics are all pure cotton or linen.
Size 10 = 34" bust
Size 12 = 36" bust
Size 14 = 38" bust
Size 16 = 40" bust
Size 18 = 42" bust
